I have rarely eaten fish since I left my parents' house.
So whenever I went to my parents' house, the grilled fish was so delicious.
Putting fish flesh on warm rice, then eating two bowls of rice was easy.
So I decided I should cook some fish this year.
However, it is one of the things I really don't want to cook because it is hard to prepare the fish, get rid of the smell, and wash dishes after cooking.
So in this post, I will give out some tips for people who want to eat fish but are too lazy to work like me.
First, buy the fish that you like. I bought Cutlassfish(Hairtail) because my husband is a big fan of that. I'll buy mackerel next time XD
In fact, it's good to buy something fresh, but with freshness, there's a lot of preparing, cleaning, food waste at home, but most of all, fresh fish in Korea, usually I have to buy too much (of course, it's much cheaper) for the two of us to eat, so I bought the fish that was trimmed and a good amount for us.
It's really comfortable. No bones.
Well, it's very easy.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 fish you like
- 1 handful of flour (or starch) (not much needed)
- A little bit of oil (normal frying oil or cooking oil is better than olive oil))
- A little bit of salt
- Paper foil (no smell, easy washing)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place a handful of flour in a flat plate.
2. Wash the trimmed hairtail in water and cover it with a paper towel to remove moisture.
(You don't have to do this if you buy fish that's been trimmed.)
3. Put the fish on the flour and coat it with flour on both sides.
4. Lay paper foil on a frying pan and add a good amount of oil.
5. Put the floured fish on a paper foil and bake it until it smells delicious.
6. Turn it upside down when it smells delicious.
7. Grilled Cutlassfish is done! YUMMY
